UNICEF’s Next Generation – a group of young leaders, philanthropists, entrepreneurs and innovators who commit their resources, resolve and enthusiasm toward supporting UNICEF’s lifesaving work – raised over $280,000 at its Sixth Annual UNICEF Masquerade Ball in Los Angeles.

Held at Clifton’s Republic, the post-modern surrealist themed fête celebrated all that UNICEF does to save and protect children around the world. The event raised funds for their Emergency Relief Fund and also for programs ending violence against children Madagascar.

The evening featured live performances by Foster The People, Lion Babe, and Anabel Englund and DJ sets by Mayer Hawthorne and DJ M.O.S.

UNICEF has helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization, responding to more than 250 emergencies each year. UNICEF Next Generation is a group of young leaders, philanthropists, entrepreneurs and innovators in their 20s and 30s who commit their resources, resolve and enthusiasm toward supporting UNICEF’s lifesaving work.

The Emergency Relief Fund allows UNICEF and its group of young leaders, philanthropists, entrepreneurs and innovators to stand ready to provide both immediate and long-term necessities — food, water, shelter, protection and physical as well as mental health care — doing whatever it takes to put children first.
