Creating amazing work may be its own reward. Having your work seen and recognized by the creative community is inspiring, encouraging and energizing.

ThinkLA, a nonprofit driven to promote Los Angeles as a network of creativity and innovation in media, marketing, and advertising, did just that for the more than 1,000 guests in attendance at its annual Idea Awards Gala.

The marketing ecosystem has become increasing complex. As a result, marketers and agencies are struggling to keep current with what’s next. ThinkLA brings together thought leaders with the community to educate, inspire and keep LA at the leading of modern marketing. We help our members not just survive, but thrive.

The Beverly Hilton International Ballroom set the stage for the 9th annual awards dinner and ceremony where the biggest media thinkers gathered to celebrate advertising’s greatest people, work and companies in the region. The evening kicked off with a cocktail reception sponsored by Twitter with presenting sponsor Teads, who set the tone with an elegant party atmosphere. Guests took photos on the event red carpet and photobooth, and mingled throughout the hotel.

The evening kicked off with a Tahitian dance performance, followed by a three-course dinner, and lively after party on the Beverly Hilton pool deck.

ThinkLA has evolved every year to reflect the topics that matter for the future of marketing. Eight years ago, they did their first mobile marketing summit; five years ago, they started doing their Programmatic Summit; three years ago, they did their first Cannabis Marketing event; and this year, they did their first MarTech event.

As we look to the future, there are a dozen new issues from privacy protection to A.I. that will be addressed to keep the LA marketing community ahead.
